Have fun, in this loose, relaxing environment where we explore the relationships between colours, how they interact with each other, and how to bring light to your work. The emphasis on this workshop is to explore your creative side working from intuition and play, to help discover your own unique personal painting style and flare. Because this is a one day only workshop, the format will be a teacher’s demonstration, followed by with lots of time to practice painting, with instructor guidance and support.
Previous painting experience is strongly encouraged,

Canvases: Three or Four canvases in a variety of your choosing.
Paint: Professional acrylic paints are strongly encouraged. I recommend either Golden Brand or Liquitex. Paints can be purchased at Opus Art Supplies, or Up with Art in Squamish. You are welcome to bring your own paints that you already have on hand. Here is the colour palette I normally use, and what I suggest bringing.

Gel Medium: I STRONGLY suggest bringing Liquitex Pouring Medium (available at Up with Art in Squamish).
