In this hands-on workshop you will learn to prepare a canvas, explore the basics of colour theory, paint handling and basic brush work all while you create a painting of a local iconic bear and under the guidance of local artist Kandice Keith.
You will explore tinting and shading, colour as a value, use of complimentary colours and how and when to use big, bold brushstrokes.
Each day you will be led through different exercises to teach you basic techniques while building your confidence as you complete your work of art.
